- This is true... although they tend to do more of the former than the later.

- We sell that C64 pack here in my Store. It actually flys off the shelf
- extremely quickly. Up here in the Pacific Northwest there were a ton of
- C= users... my theory is that the close you are geographically to
- micro$oft (and the more feeble your mind) they more quickly you succomb
- to having to shell out money everytime bill gates says you need to
- upgrade. =) "Case in point": Pac NW C= BBSs appeared to die off quickly,
- but the farther east you went across the USA, the more C= support you can
- still find... and heck, over there in Europe - a whole half a world away
- - there are tons of C= support!
-
- Muhahahaha...
-
- Anyway, back to the C=64 15 pack. We sell it here and for all those who
- have heard about the back of the box, I quote it for you here:
-
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Looking at the back of the box is pretty nifty! They got the:
-
- **** COMMODORE 64 BASIC ****
-
- 64K RAM SYSTEM 38911 BASIC BYTES FREE
-
- ...thing going on in the corner and this nifty description on the back:
-
- "It was THE computer to own in the early 80's. With more than 4 million
- users, the Commodore 64 was the premier gaming platform and home hacker's
- first love.
-
- The games created back then had real finesse, and the size of your
- imagination was more important than the size of your hard drive.
- Fortunetly, you now have a chance to catch up to the original game
- masters with Activision's Commodore 64 15 pack. Jam-Packed with arcade
- action, exciting adventure and mindbending puzzles, this collection
- contains the absolute best from computer gaming history."
-
- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Truely amazing. I personally agree with most if not all of that!
-
- It also notes that Help Files contain game histories and interviews with
- designers. =) NIFTY!
-
- I wonder if I can get my manager to forgive me for ripping one of these
- boxes open and taking a peek inside. =)
-
- Ahhhhhhhhh... its sometimes nice to have a internet connection at work.
- =) I suppose I better go put this back on the shelf now...
